Siarhei Tsimokhau / Сяржук Цімохаў / Сергей Тимохов / was born in 1960 in village Krotau (Gomel region, Belarus).

In 1979 – finished Minsk Art College.

In 1984 – he finished Belarusian Academia of Arts. (Section of monumental painting).

In 1986 – 1998 – he lived in t. Polatsk.

Since 1999 – Siarhei live in Minsk.

Tsimokhau is a member of Union of Belarusian Artists since 1989.

Siarhei Tsimokhau work in district of traditional painting and graphic. The works of artist be place in Museum modern art of Belarus (Minsk), in Art fund of Union of Belarusian Artists (Minsk), in Art fund of Russian Culture Ministry (Moscow), in Museum of M.Shagal (Vitsebsk), Art museum in Polatsk, in “Galleria stuki Katarzyny Napiorkowskaj” (Warsaw), in “Walentowski Gallery” (Dresden) and in private collection in Belarus , USA, Europe, etc.

Siarhei Tsimokhau is laureate of “The Second Plener of M. Shagal” (1997), the Grand Prix winner of 8^th Biennial of Illustration “The Golden Pen of Belgrade” in 2003.
